About Acne Cosmetica

You’ve already found out from the previous post that acne cosmetica is directly caused by cosmetics, that is make-up and those many products pretending that will make you even more beautiful that you already are. Unfortunately, acne cosmetica is on the rise in the present, which means that for more and more people wearing make-up is a part of the daily routine.

However, another thing worsens the situation even more: that is the fact that these people that started to already suffer from acne cosmetica aren’t aware of the relation between cosmetics and their skin disorder. They even worsen their acne by using even more cosmetic products for hiding it. They don’t go to the doctor’s and continue to experience the disorder’s endless reaction to cosmetics without even suspect that they are in the centre of a vicious circle.

Acne cosmetica could be, however, easily identified by the small, rashy, pink bumps and whiteheads from your cheeks, chin and forehead. Usually, it does not leave you with scars as the other types of acne, such as acne vulgaris, but suffering from it isn’t quite a pleasure, either.

It develops over a period of several weeks or even months since you’ve started to use the particular cosmetics that have caused the disorder. This way, the ironic thing about acne cosmetica is that it is easy to get rid of; but for that you must at least know that your skin disorder is cosmetic acne and then to stop using cosmetics!

It will be easy to get rid of it, because you have to just identify and stop using the particular make-up product that caused it, as acne cosmetica is triggered by topical factors and not by the complex, and yet less understood, processes that take place inside the body in the case of acne vulgaris, for example. So it is generated by outside chemical substances, and once you stop using them, the skin disorder stops.

You should know that acne cosmetica affects even persons that are not susceptible to acne. So, if you’ve been discovered of suffering from cosmetic acne don’t worry, as it is very possible the disorder to come to its final end once you stopped using the particular cosmetic products.

On the other hand, you should be aware that any of the known types of acne don’t go so well with cosmetics. It’s highly recommended that the persons who suffer from acne to avoid using cosmetics, or at least to use them rarely.

Next you will find out which are the products that are likely to cause acne are and how in fact these processes take place.
