Acne Fulminans

Acne Fulminans is a type of acne that is even rarer than Acne Conglobata. It is in fact an even much severe form of Acne Conglobata, as it is additionally associated with systemic symptoms.
Acne Fulminans is an abrupt onset of Acne Conglobata and it is affecting almost only young men. The unique characteristic of this type of acne is that fact that it always includes a fever and aching of the joints. Severe nodulocystic and ulcerating formations are apparent symptoms of Acne Fulminans.
Unfortunately, this type of acne does not respond well to antibiotics and doctors usually prescribe for the sufferers Isotretinoin and oral steroids.
