We have always “preached” that acne is a serious disease and that you should treat it likewise, that it is necessary to treat it with special lotions and medications and that it never goes away just like that.
However, maybe just a few of you have known that in some cases acne might be caused in fact by drugs, by medications that people take to fight other illnesses and diseases.

Yes, this is true! There is a number of prescription medications known to cause acne. If you routinely take any of the following drugs (or drugs like them) and have problems with acne breakouts, you should go and visit your physician to discuss an alternative treatment with fewer side affects.
