You heard us very well! No matter how difficult this could be, don’t squeeze, don’t pick!
No matter what “tools” you use, that is fingernails, pins or anything else, squeezing or picking your blemishes is wrong because it can force bacteria deeper into your skin, thus causing infection and inflammation.
Squeezing and picking will also increase the damage to the surrounding skin, so the blemish is more likely to spread even more and also to leave permanent acne scars.
So, although you feel that this is something natural and doesn’t represent a danger, squeezing and picking are absolutely forbidden!
