Stress and Acne

Party All Life Long?
How about partying all life long? No worries, no stress, no nothing! It is impossible, we agree. Although it would be real fun, a life without worries and stress doesn’t sound like a life on Earth.
Unfortunately, we live at the “speed of light”: we hurry to the office, we eat and drink in at the speed of light, we even dream in a hurry. We run and run and run, like in that German movie: “Run, Lola, Run”.
Lola was quite good at running and after she failed for several times to save her boyfriend from destroying his life, she eventually succeeded. She ran very well, in fact.
But what about us? We’re in no German movie and we aren’t given three or four chances for doing something well. We’re condemned to run continually without even knowing what we are running for.

However, let us not get sad and pessimistic. This is the world that man built for themselves and we ought to live our lives according to our own wisdom. If we aren’t able to be a little bit wise, we’ll eventually waste all this time and be left only with the running, stress and probably acne.
But what has acne to do with these dark thoughts? – you probably ask yourself silently…
Acne has to do a lot with this daily running because stress represents one of its main causes. Stress probably triggers most of the illnesses and diseases that people have to cope with.
We aren’t able to preach for you how you should live your life, nor to tell you what is good and what is bad in this life. We’re here to share with you information about acne and how you should fight against it.
However, everybody knows that stress is really bad and that you should try to avoid stress as much as you can.
Money, houses and cars shouldn’t be the goals of your life; it would be a pity to waste a life in trying to have more and more things, instead of trying to enjoy life as it is, with flowers, winds, people and animals, movies, music and books and so on…
Don’t allow stress sneak in your life!

Hormonal Acne: 1. How Did It All Started?

What could be the relation between love and acne? Between warm, touching feelings and an irritating skin disease? The grotesque, strange connection between these two different things is made by hormones!
Love and acne have the same root; they have both begun to talk through you starting with puberty. Those were the times, weren’t they?…
So, starting sometime before adolescence, around the age of nine or ten, the adrenal glands started to produce dihydroepiandrosterone sulfate (DHEAS), which is an androgen. Other androgens, or so called “male” hormones, that are at work in a woman’s body are testosterone and dehydrotestosterone (DHT). They have both joined in at the onset of puberty.

And little by little, DHEAS, DHT and testosterone started to stimulate the sebaceous glands to secret more of the skin’s natural oil, called sebum. Although during this period, boys suffered a lot more from acne (since they had more male hormones), girls started also to cope with zits, spots and so on.
At that time, acne was a sign for both boys and girls. It was the symbol of the fact that they started to grow up and to head towards adolescence. Love’s bites and hot feelings came also along with acne!

Tips and Tricks about Appropriate Hygiene for Acne Sufferers

Animals don’t wash! Fortunately enough for them, they don’t suffer either from acne and they never have to pay attention to the way they look. If you’re an animal, you are and behave as an animal and anyone, animal or human, won’t ever ask you to change!
Thus, hygiene represents one of the most significant differences between humans and animals. We wash because we realize that we get dirty and that dirt causes discomfort and all kind of diseases, as well. We wash because we like to smell good and to be appreciated as clean, nice, good-smelling fellows. We wash because this simply became a habit and our mothers are always telling us to do so.
If you are not in the mood to wash for a long time, it means that you are depressed and that you have some inner problems that are desperately asking for a solution. This has nothing to do with soap and water, but it has to do with you and the way you feel! When a man or a woman doesn’t want to wash, this means that he or she doesn’t want to live anymore as a social being, doesn’t want to be anymore appreciated and loved by the others.

They don’t care about the others and they don’t want to be part of this world. Because, like it or not, for the modern world the soap and water and perfume have started to represent real values.
So, if we determined you to wash and to pay attention to this process and its signification, you should now find out more about the connection between acne and soap and water.
We will next offer you some little tips and tricks that should help you better understand hygiene and its special relation to acne.
